Untethered

Moving without a map

Can I trust myself to move when nothing outside me is telling me where to go?

You are extraordinarily perceptive. You notice what other people need, read the room, adapt quickly, and know how to find ways of belonging in many different spaces. That sensitivity is a remarkable social intelligence.

The Energy

We often look outside ourselves for something that tells us which way to go: a plan, a role, a familiar path, someone else's approval, or certainty that we are making the right choice.

When those anchors disappear, freedom can feel surprisingly unsettling. Nothing is holding us back, but nothing is telling us where to go either.

Untethered invites us to trust our ability to find our way towards what matters to us, even when there are no external directions telling us how to get there.

The Invitation

There is safety in having boundaries around what is possible. A familiar path may limit us, but it also tells us where to place our feet.

The price of unbounded freedom is that some of the structures that made us feel safe are no longer there.

Untethered asks us not to mistake that uncertainty for being lost. We can learn to trust our own movement without knowing exactly where it will take us.

Freedom does not always feel like certainty. Sometimes it feels like open ground.

A Way Through

Notice where you are waiting for a plan, permission, certainty or reassurance before you move.

You don't need to know the whole direction yet.

If no one could tell you how to get there, what would you trust yourself to move towards?
