Companion
Making room for more than one experience.
Are you making sameness the price of connection?
You value being part of a community and supporting each other so deeply. You know how powerful it can be when we stand for each other.
The Energy
Two people can share the same moment and experience completely different things. Companion makes room for both experiences to be real at the same time.
Your experience does not have to agree with mine in order to be real. And acknowledging yours does not require me to abandon my own.
The Invitation
Companion shifts us away from deciding whose experience gets to define the interaction. Instead, we can make our own experience visible while becoming curious about what the same encounter was like from somewhere else.
Understanding does not require consensus. Difference, even contradiction, does not have to end relationship. Once we understand more about how another person experienced what happened between us, we become accountable for what we do with that understanding.
A Way Through
When you find yourself trying to establish whose version is right, make room for another question: what becomes visible when both experiences are allowed to exist?
Can I make room for your experience without abandoning my own?
